ساکس ۴

فاکتور رونویسی ساکس ۴ (انگلیسی: Transcription factor SOX-4) یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «SOX4» کُدگذاری می‌شود.[4][5][6] این پروتئین متعلق به خانواده‌ای از فاکتورهای رونویسی است که در تنظیم رشد و نمو جنین و همچنین تعیین سرنوشت سلول‌ها نقش دارند.

پروتئین ساکس ۴ در لنفوسیت‌ها (B و T) بیان می‌شوند و جهت تکامل لنفوسیت‌های B مورد نیازند.[7]

اهمیت بالینی

یک ناحیهٔ ژنومی در مجاورت ژن ساکس ۴ را با بروز سرطان مخاط رحم مرتبط دانسته‌اند.[8][9]
