شورش طالبان
شورش طالبان شورشی است که این گروه پس از از دست دادن قدرت در جنگ افغانستان آغاز کردهاند. در این شورش نیروهای طالبان بر ضد دولت افغانستان که پیشتر حامد کرزی و اکنون محمداشرف غنی رئیسجمهور آن است، و همچنین نیروهای بینالمللی کمک به امنیت (ISAF) به رهبری آمریکا، میجنگند. شورشگری آن حا تا حدی از مرز دیورند رد شده و به کشور پاکستان و به ویژه مناطق وزیرستان و خیبر پختونخوا رسیدهاست. طالبان جنگهای کم شدتی را بر ضد نیروهای امنیت ملی افغانستان و ناتو و همچنین اهداف غیرنظامی انجام میدهد. کشورهای منطقه همچون پاکستان، ایران، چین و روسیه، اغلب به کمک مالی و پشتیبانی از گروههای شورشی متهم میشوند.[49][50][51][52][53][54][55][56][9][57][58]
رهبر کنونی طالبان هبتالله آخندزاده است که رهبر شورای کویته نیز بهشمار میرود. شبکه حقانی، حزب اسلامی گلبدین حکمتیار و گروههای کوچک القاعده نیز بخشی از این شورش هستند.[59][60]
