تام هنکس بازیگر و تهیه‌کننده آمریکایی است که فعالیت گسترده‌ای در فیلم‌ها، تلویزیون و روی صحنه داشته‌است. هنکس اولین بازیگری حرفه ای خود را با بازی Grumio در صحنه تئاتر Great Lakes در رام کردن زن سرکش (۱۹۷۷) انجام داد.[1]
