CTBP1
پروتئین شمارهٔ ۱ متصلشونده به انتهای کربوکسیل (انگلیسی: C-terminal-binding protein 1) که با عنوانِ CtBP1 شناخته میشود، یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «CTBP1» کُدگذاری میشود.[4]
این پروتئین همچون CTBP2، یک مولکول بازدارندهٔ رونویسی دیانای (کورپرسور یا مانعیار) است و موجب خاموشی ژنها میگردد.[5] این دو پروتئین، چندین نقش متفاوت در سلول ایفا میکنند و در تنظیم تغییرات اپیتلیالی و مزانشیمی و همچنین تنظیم متابولیسم یاخته (از طریق اتصال به NADH) نقش دارند.
در اثرِ پیرایش دگرسان (Alternative splicing)، چندین رونویسیِ متفاوت از این ژن وجود دارد که موجب میشوند گونههای متفاوتی از پروتئین از آن ساخته شود.[6]
