پیتر اتکینز

پیتر اتکینز (به انگلیسی: Peter Atkins) (متولد ۱۰ اوت ۱۹۴۰) شیمیدان، انگلیسی و استاد اسبق شیمی در دانشگاه آکسفورد است. او یک نویسنده پرکار کتاب‌های مشهور درسی شیمی است؛ از جمله، کتاب‌های او شیمی فیزیک، شیمی معدنی و مکانیک کوانتوم ملکولی است. اتکینز همچنین کتاب‌های علمی برای عموم مردم نوشته‌است، شامل ملکول‌های اتکینز و انگشت گالیله: ده ایده بزرگ علم.
