لقب واژه یا عبارتی است که جای یک نام یا همراه با آن می‌آید و وارد کاربرد عادی شده‌است. لقب همچنین می‌تواند به عباراتی توهین‌آمیز، افتراآمیز یا تحقیرآمیز نیز اشاره داشته باشد.[1][2]
