سیمور هرش

سیمور مایرون هرش (انگلیسی: Seymour (Sy) Myron Hersh‎، متولد ۸ آوریل ۱۹۳۷ در شیکاگو، ایلینوی)، روزنامه‌نگار تحقیقی و نویسنده آمریکایی است که موفق به کسب جایزه ادبی پولیتزر شده‌است.

هرش ساکن واشینگتن، دی.سی. است و مقالاتش معمولاً در نشریهٔ نیویورکر منتشر می‌شود.

در سال ۲۰۰۶ هرش پرده از نقشه برخی مقامات آمریکا برای بمباران وسیع ایران و تشدید حمایت از ناآرامی‌های قومی و اقلیت‌های غیر فارس زبان در ایران برداشت.[1] وی همچنین در یک سخنرانی برای اعضای اتحادیه آزادی‌های مدنی این کشور پرده از شکنجه و آزار زندانیان ابوغریب برداشت.[2]
