لوید ریجن

لوید ریجن (به انگلیسی: Lloyd Ridgeon) پژوهشگر مطالعات اسلامی و استاد دانشگاه گلاسکو است. او تاریخ اولیه اسلام، تاریخ مدرن ایران، تاریخ تفکراتی اسلامی و فهم اسلامی از محمد[1] را تدریس می‌کند. زمینه کاری او تاریخ، خداشناسی و سیاست اسلامی، صوفی گری مدرن و کلاسیک، تاریخ و فرهنگ ایرانیان و ادبیات فارسی است.وی مقالات و پژوهش‌هایی در زمینه‌های تصوف، روشنفکران و روحانیون ایرانی منتشر کرده‌است.1
