الن داندس

الن داندس (به انگلیسی: Alan Dundes) (متولد ۸ سپتامبر ۱۹۳۴، درگذشت ۳۰ مارس ۲۰۰۵)، فولکلورشناس دانشگاه کالیفرنیا، برکلی بود. او ۱۲ کتاب، هم دانشگاهی و هم عوام‌پسند نوشت و چندده کتاب را ویرایستاری کرد یا در نوشتن آنها مشارکت جست.

شغل

داندس به دانشگاه ییل راه یافت و انگلیسی را در آنجا فراگرفت و با همسرش کارولین ملاقات کرد.

مرگ

داندس، هنگام سمینار دانشجویان کارشناسی ارشد، غش کرد و درگذشت.
